Good morning friends and freaks!

I wanted to take a couple minutes this morning to let you know why I’ve slowly moved into referring to our live stream devotion series as “Live Line Devotions”.

This is a combination of multiple different references. First of all, they are live stream devotions that you can watch online. So there’s that. However, it is also a nod to the idea of being a livewire. In electric circles, a live wire is “a wire with a flow of electrical current”.

So, we are doing “Live Line Devotions” because we are online, but also because as God’s people we are meant to be alive with the flow of the electricity to be found in the Holy Spirit. And we are meant to be a direct line from our God reaching out to other believers and to the ones who have yet to begin a relationship with Jesus.

And that’s where that came from.
